Fernando Gastrotheque’s Head Chef, Hiram Cassar, recently took part in a four-hands dinner at the Michelin-starred ALO Restaurant in Toronto, working alongside the restaurant’s Head Chef, Patrick Kriss.
The collaboration brought together two distinct culinary styles, with guests treated to a multi-course menu that highlighted both chefs’ creativity and technical skill. Each course was paired with wine introduced by Fernando Gastrotheque’s owner, Nicholai Grech, who shared the background and inspiration behind the selections.
The evening drew a number of notable attendees, including Clement Leung and Canadian musician and internet personality Andrew Gunadie, known online as ‘gunnarolla’. With a strong international following, Mr Gunadie later shared a video of the event, remarking that he had added Malta to his travel list after the experience.
