For the first time, internationally renowned photographer Lorenzo Agius is showcasing his work in Malta, in what promises to be a landmark exhibition for local art and photography enthusiasts.

Born in London to Maltese parents, Mr Agius is widely recognised for creating some of the most iconic celebrity portraits of the past three decades. His work includes celebrated images of Hollywood actor Margot Robbie, music legend Madonna, and singer Harry Styles, as well as the gritty Trainspotting series that first propelled him to international acclaim in the mid-1990s.

From 12th September to 2nd November, Spazju Kreattiv in Valletta will host the exhibition, curated by Charlene Vella. The showcase will take visitors through Mr Agius’s cinematic universe across four rooms, with large-format prints on textured watercolour paper and a projection room designed to immerse viewers in his creative process.

The showcase offers a rare opportunity for Maltese audiences to experience the artistry of one of the world’s most respected portrait photographers.

When she’s not writing articles at work or poetry at home, you’ll find her taking long walks in the countryside, pumping iron at the gym, caring for her farm animals, or spending quality time with family and friends. In short, she’s always on the go, drawing inspiration from the little things around her, and constantly striving to make the ordinary extraordinary.
