InboundMuse, a leading Maltese company specialising in Artificial Intelligence, will double its team size to 20 full time roles by the end of 2022, it has been revealed.

The company, led by tech duo Tyron Lloyd Baron and Mark Mallia, have operated a team that has gone from strength to strength since 2015, employing 10 people with a focus on AI and data science.

With its success, the company has helped to attract to Malta its partner, global AI solutions leader Altada Technologies, which has opened offices in Smart City to be closer to its strategic partners on their path the global expansion.

Together, these innovative, high-growth companies are expected to remain focused on “cutting-edge” innovation and the development of AI application for the global market.

InboundMuse was visited by Research and Innovation Minister Owen Bonnici this week, who emphasised the support given to the team by the Horizon2020 funding program.

“Thanks to this funding, this AI technology company managed to become an innovative company that exports made-in-Europe technology overseas.

“This is a perfect example of how a company can benefit from getting involved with programmes such as Horizon2020 and I encourage other companies to follow suit and tap into such opportunities as Horizon Europe as well,” he said.

Horizon2020 was one of the largest ever European funding programmes for research and innovation. Upon its expiry at the end of 2020, it was replaced by Horizon Europe.
