MaltaPost has opened a new post office in Rudolph Street, Sliema, replacing the one that was situated in Manwel Dimech Street in the same locality.

Apart from a range of postal services, the outlet also retails postage stamps, philatelic items, One-4-All gift vouchers, postage boxes, telephone and mobile cards, stationery items and greeting cards. It also offers encashment of Central Bank of Malta cheques, international money transfers, and opening of PostaPay&Save payment accounts.

"Post Offices play a vital role in the heart of the community and have remained open for business even during the most challenging times. They will continue to offer their services to the customers on a day to day basis," MaltaPost CEO Joseph Gafà, said. He noted that, with a post office in almost every locality in Malta and Gozo, the company’s network is one of the largest in the Maltese islands.

“Our commitment is to make postal services more accessible to our customers and we will continue to add new post offices and parcel collection points in the near future, " he pledged.

The new Sliema post office is open Monday to Saturday between 7.30am and 1pm.
