Following a review of the evolving needs of travellers, GasanMamo Insurance has enhanced its travel insurance product range to ensure the best travel insurance solutions offering flexibility to its clients.

The main changes include:

• Increased Medical Coverage at no extra cost
• Higher benefits at no extra cost
• Optional extensions to suit the travellers’ individual requirements
• Extension of age brackets to ensure that all travellers can benefit from travel insurance

Extended Age Coverage

Ages 81-85 now eligible: For the first time, Basic Cover is available to travellers aged 81 to 85. No medical certificate required.

Ages 75-80 upgraded: This age group now qualifies for Standard Cover, previously restricted to Basic only.

Increased Protection Limits

Emergency medical expenses have been significantly raised across all cover tiers:

• Basic: €50,000 (previously €25,000)
• Standard: €300,000 (previously €200,000)
• Executive: €2,000,000 (previously €1,000,000)

Cancellation of Service: This section covering additional travel and accommodation expenses if flights are cancelled due to adverse weather or natural disasters is now automatically included in Standard and Executive policies. There will be no additional cost for policyholders

Rental Vehicle Excess limits increased to €750 (Standard) and €1,000 (Executive), up from €400 and €500 respectively.

Delayed Departure benefits now activate every 6 hours instead of 12 hours.

New Optional Extensions

The policy will now also offer 3 new optional increased limits to ensure that clients can benefit from increased travel cover when necessary to suit their individual requirements:

• Additional Baggage Limit (available for Executive Cover)
• Additional Cancellation Limit, including COVID-19 protection (available for Executive Cover)
• Organised Team Sports Cover available for Basic, Standard and Executive covers
