Further service expansion into corporate and private investigations is also on the horizon for the Group following her completion of a related degree next year, she goes on: “Alongside my role at IGA, I am now also in the final year of a BA (Hons) Criminology degree at the University of Malta – a dream bucket list item for me – and I hope to continue my studies with a further PhD following that. This will bring new expertise and add an extra service layer at IGA, particularly regarding AML,” she shares.

While proudly maintaining IGA’s top service standards, Ms Panzavecchia’s packed daily schedule also includes lectures and family life – although she admits that she has always thrived on working hard to learn and grow throughout her career. “I have always aimed high, studying the tough courses to push my projections,” she recalls. “I worked in catering while studying for my A-Levels, then in purchasing, in an executive role in the accountancy field and, finally engaging in the gaming industry, as an Accounts Executive. From Human Resources I became a key official in the company beforemoving into my present role at IGA.”

At IGA Group, her role as Head of Corporate and Compliance Regulations is critical in the support and coordination of the organisation, as well as delivering on its signature high standards. “I am responsible for safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of company-wide information, administration and governance systems and procedures,” she says. “While I ensure my team can offer the best service to our highly esteemed clients, my role also means I must look inward to the internal operations of the company, overseeing human resources, finance, risk, legal and compliance functions, as well asensuring policies are effective, consistent and in-line with the intentions of the company.”
