Malta Enterprise has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with one of Italy’s oldest universities, Università degli Studi di Salerno Unisa / the University of Salerno.

The state agency tasked with attracting investment and facilitating growth by local companies has entered into an agreement with the university to set up a “joint business incubator for sart-ups in Malta”.

Malta Enterprise said the agreement would result in the promotion and support of research, development and innovative projects in Malta, the facilitation of technology and knowledge transfer, attracting new investment to Malta and the Mediterranean region at large and lastly, it would create new opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
