Franco Group, the Spanish leading manufacturer of AWP, casino, slot and bingo games, plans to release a new game each month this year under Maltese, Spanish, Portuguese and Colombian regulatory approval.

It is also seeking international expansion. “Malta, in particular, will be central to our plans, having recently established our presence on the island. The territory’s regulatory environment is conducive to innovation, with the recent change in framework an especially pleasing development,” the Group’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rubén Loeches told online gaming news portal europeangaming.eu.

The Group will focus on its home market, Spain, too. The Spanish market, Mr Loeches said, is still developing and the Group expected to see a surge in activity during 2020, with operators showing a strong interest despite an advertising ban.

He pointed out that a new generation of punters brings a new generation of demands, noting that almost 10 per cent of the country’s population are passionate eSports fans, “so Spain will be a valuable test ground for a young and fast-growing betting vertical that is full of potential”.
