Malta-based Ferratum Bank plc has completed its rebrand to Multitude Bank plc, following the broader rebranding of Multitude Group’s parent company Multitude SE. While the announcement was made on Friday (today), the new website and name will come into effect on Saturday.

The new name represents the bank’s “growing national and international presence”, while also allowing for “easier association with the group”.

Ferratum Bank CEO Antti Kumpulainen explained that the rebrand shows its “unity and direct connection” with and to Multitude Group, describing it as a “natural step” following the wider change.

“It also shows how we, as a bank, have evolved and are proud to have grown our offering over the years and are now catering to businesses, in addition to customers,” he added.

Ferratum Bank, which has Finnish origins, provides a range of banking services to its clients, with its EU banking licence enabling it to do so from Malta to other jurisdictions within the European Economic Area.
