On Monday, Lindex opened its first store in Malta, at the newly renovated Bay Street Shopping Complex in St Julian’s.

The store, which is operated together with Lindex’s franchise partner John Manché, is one of Malta’s largest fashion outlets serving women and children, stretching across close to 700 square metres.

It offers all of Lindex’s business areas – womenswear, kidswear, lingerie and cosmetics – and has an interior design concept that the company says emphasises its Scandinavian heritage and sustainable mindset.

Mr Manché celebrated the opening, saying the company is “very happy to open a store in Malta together with the strong fashion brand Lindex”, explaining that “the inspiring, affordable and more sustainable fashion feels right for the Maltese customer”.

Due to the current COVID situation, the company was unable to launch a store opening event for its customers, which it would normally do, as “avoiding crowds and ensuring everyone’s safety is the most important thing”, according to Lindex Director of Franchise Johan Isacson.

“We experience a strong interest for the Lindex fashion in Malta and are so happy to finally open in this beautiful country”, he added.
