In a major strategic development, Lift Services Ltd has secured an official partnership with Hyundai Elevators, bringing one of the world’s most advanced vertical transport providers to the local market.

This move builds upon a decades-long track record of technical excellence in the installation of premium global brands. Through long-standing alliances with Stannah and Cibes, the company has consistently delivered complex customisations, ranging from the world's most reliable stairlifts to pitless home lifts in footprints as small as one square metre.

By aligning with a Tier-1 global manufacturer, Lift Services is now making a new range of premium lifts available to a broader spectrum of clients, from homeowners requiring luxury accessibility to developers delivering Malta’s most ambitious high-rise projects.

"Lift Services sought to find a partner that is on par with the level of acclaim and quality of our current portfolio," said CEO Alexander Chetcuti. "Our rigorous audit of the market led us to single out Hyundai. They possess the resources and technical capacity to expand our offerings in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors while maintaining the uncompromising level of service our clients expect."

The partnership introduces the Hyundai NEX-1 Series to Malta which features the proprietary H-Belt Drive System. This technology replaces traditional steel ropes with a high-durability belt. This innovation allows the traction machine to be reduced in size by 85 per cent compared to standard models, freeing up valuable building space for architects. Furthermore, the belt system is oil-free and vibration-resistant, offering a greener and smoother ride than conventional elevators.

Beyond the drive system, the range addresses critical demands for modern facility management. The lifts feature Regenerative Inverters that capture energy during operation and feed it back into the building’s grid , alongside Air Touch buttons for contactless hygiene control.

This strategic alignment has yielded immediate results. Lift Services has already secured multiple contracts for Hyundai installations, confirming the strong local demand for high-performance commercial infrastructure.

For us, integrating Hyundai guarantees a broader range of options for all our clients, and a unified standard of excellence across every project,” Mr Chetcuti added. “Our clients have trusted us in their homes for over four decades. This partnership ensures that when those same clients develop a hotel, office block or commercial complex, Lift Services can deliver a solution that carries the same assurance of quality with the added weight of international recognition.”
