Pierre Pizzuto, the owner and Managing Director of Tradeways Ltd, a leading toy importer, has passed away, falling victim to COVID-19.

Tradeways is the local representative for some of the most popular children’s toys, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Fisher Price.

At this difficult time, Tradeways management commented that the company will continue to function under Mr Pizzuto's company values and principles.

Mr Pizzuto was beloved by many and stood on the committee of the fireworks society 15 t’Awissu.

A fixture in the Mosta community, his passing was marked by many of the town’s associations, including the philarmonic societies Nicolo Isouard and Santa Marija, street decoration group Marija Assunta, and the Mosta Scout Group.

Mr Pizzuto, who was in his early fifties, leaves to mourn his passing his wife Jeannette, his children Jake and Martina, his staff at Tradeways Ltd, fellow enthusiasts at the fireworks club 15 t’Awissu, and many others in Mosta and beyond.
