KDM Group has continued its aggressive expansion into Malta’s security market with the acquisition of Crowd Safety Management Ltd, purchasing it from James Cassar and Kevin Chircop.
The deal comes a few months after KDM’s acquisition of Masco Security Services Ltd and two years after its full acquisition of Securital, formerly G4S Malta.
KDM said its acquisition of Crowd Safety Management will complement its existing operations with specialised capabilities in niche security segments, including VIP protection, high-value security services, B2B events, and tailored security solutions.
“The move reflects the Group’s strategic focus on continuing to invest in specialised and high-potential service areas that reinforce operational excellence and long-term market positioning,” it said.
"The acquisition also responds to increasing demand for specialised and high-end security solutions across corporate, events, infrastructure, and private sectors.”
Crowd Safety Management will continue to operate under its existing brand and as a separate legal entity, and there will be no change in its current management structure.
“This acquisition represents another important milestone in the Group’s continued growth journey,” KDM CEO Edward Chetcuti said.
“Crowd Safety Management Ltd brings specialised expertise and a strong reputation within niche security segments that complement and strengthen our existing operations.”
“As a Group, we remain focused on identifying strategic opportunities that enhance our service offering, create operational synergies, and support our long-term vision for sustainable growth.”
Mr Cassar, Director of Crowd Safety Management Ltd, said that joining KDM represents an exciting new chapter for the company.
“We are proud of the specialised reputation and expertise we have built over the years, and we look forward to continuing to grow within a larger group structure that shares our commitment to professionalism, quality service, and operational excellence,” he said.
