General Manager (GM) Joseph P. Theuma, or Josie as he is commonly referred to, on Thursday (today) called time on his career at RE/MAX Malta due to retirement.
In a post to announce his departure, the real estate company said that his “unwavering commitment and dedication” over the past 20 years has made him a “pillar” to RE/MAX Malta’s journey.
Mr Theuma embarked on his real estate career in 1994, working in all its fields including rentals and sales, eventually moving into managerial and administrative roles. He had joined RE/MAX Malta at the start of 2004.
“Your contributions have shaped our company, and the industry, in profound ways. For this we’re forever grateful,” the post continued.
“From navigating through challenging times to celebrating great triumphs, you’ve been a source of inspiration to us all,” RE/MAX Malta stated, before wishing him all the best in his retirement and future endeavours.
The post was accompanied by a video featuring a number of RE/MAX Malta members of management and employees sharing their thoughts on Mr Theuma, together with pictures of some memorable moments together.
CEO Sam Zammit said that besides business, Mr Theuma for him is a “friend and a great mentor.” “From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to express my gratitude to Josie, and it’s time for him to take it easy and enjoy time with his family. I’m sure that he will be missed by everyone at the head office, and I wish him the best of luck,” he added.
Others dubbed him as the “problem solver” and a “good listener,” always being there to help them out when needed.
