Experienced marketer Johann Agius has been named Digital Marketing Strategist at luxury goods and jewellery company Mvintage, he announced on Friday.

Mr Agius had temporarily stepped away from the marketing world to focus on his position as Executive Administrator at Victim Support Malta, a role he occupied for nine months, during which he was tasked with “overseeing and actioning every aspect of the NGO”.

With extensive experience in an agency setting, he now looks forward to this new opportunity where he will be "jumping over to the client brand side".

“I’m excited to get to support the vision of such a well-established and beloved local brand, whilst also bringing my own perspective to the table,” Mr Agius concluded.

Apart from his new role at Mvintage, he is also Junior Chamber International’s (JCI) de Rohan Local President, a role he has been entrusted with since January. He also served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for a year at the non-profit organisation.

Additionally, Mr Agius spent more than five years at BRND WGN Co. Ltd, initially starting out as Junior Content Writer, before being promoted to Content Writer and afterwards to Social Media Executive, staying in the latter for three years.

He is a Master in Creativity and Innovation and Master of Arts in Law graduate from the University of Malta. During his studies, he served as CEO of student media organisation Insite, along with Deputy CEO and Public Relations Officer at the same organisation.

Built on the values of women, family, and fashion, Mvintage is a Maltese designer jewellery brand that was founded by Krystle Penza. It has since grown to become more than just a brand, but also a “community dedicated to the empowerment and support of women”.
