Malita plc has announced that Jennifer Tabone has been appointed Chief Executive Officer as of 1st January 2021.

Ms Tabone previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer for five years, having joined the company as Accounts Manager in 2011.

The company also announced that Melanie Mizzi will be filling the vacated executive post.

The Government-controlled real estate investment company owns the sites of Malta International Airport and Valletta Cruise Port, and holds a temporary emphyteusis over the Parliament Building and Pjazza Teatru Rjal.

Malita plc is also currently involved in a major housing project, developing around 700 apartments and almost 300 garages for the Government’s affordable housing stock.
