Nicole Borg, the outgoing President of JCI Malta is handing the reigns of the organisation to Giselle Borg Olivier, and took to social media over the weekend to reflect and wish her successor well.

“I’ve been lucky enough to see this organisation grow and grow with it as well,” she said, before turning to discuss her new position as Immediate Past President.

“Now my new role means I will be taking on more of an advisory and supportive role to the team, while I look into further opportunities for growth through the organisation,” she said.

JCI Malta is the local affiliate of the Junior Chamber International, an independent, worldwide federation of young professionals and entrepreneurs which aims to provide the opportunity for young people to develop their leadership and entrepreneurship skills to create positive change.

The new President took to social media in December to discuss the appointment, which came alongside her appointment as Manager at Zaar Crowdfunding, saying “2022 is going to be a big year.”

Alongside her role at JCI Malta, Ms Borg is a Marketing and Administration Manager at Sliema-based VEO Capital. She was appointed to this role last November.

“Looking forward to see how the Reconnecting Leaders team builds upon all that the Leaders For Change team had to offer,” she added.
