KPMG Malta has announced the departure of “beloved” receptionist Carmen Calleja and PA to Senior Partner, Lorraine Azzopardi, who are retiring from the firm this month after a combined total of 49 years at the company (33 and 16.5 years respectively.

Marking their departure on social media, the audit, tax and advisory services firm stated described their departure as “the end of a beautiful era”.

“Without any doubt, we will miss working with them on a daily basis, and their infectious smiles. We feel fortunate to have worked along your sides and for all the wonderful memories”.

Established in 1969, KPMG describes itself as one of the largest professional services firms in Malta.

It wishes its long-time employees “healthy, happy and fun retirement[s]” and says, “best of luck with your new chapter in life”.
