Bank of Valletta (BOV) HR specialists were present during the KSU Careers Expo held at the University of Malta, where they provided information about current and future career opportunities within all functions at the bank.

Vanessa Borg, BOV’s Chief of People and Change, commented: “In today’s constantly changing world, identifying and acquiring talent is always a key area for BOV.”

Conversations centred around opportunities as well as the academic qualifications and skill sets required to “unlock” students’ future potential with a career in a “large, modern and forward-looking financial institution.”

Dr Borg added: “We constantly seek opportunities to highlight our commitment to being the employer of choice offering career paths, growth, benefits and exciting opportunities in various areas of our group.”

The BOV Graduates Package was also discussed by staff manning the bank’s stand at the expo.

This package of financial services is aimed at providing favourable banking conditions for customers under 35 years of age who have finished tertiary education. It aims to teach a range of skills to be used for regular everyday banking or to achieve life goals such as starting a business, purchasing a new home or accumulating wealth.
