Malta celebrates Pride Week between 10-19th September. Pre COVID, an annual Pride March drew thousands of supporters and is this year being marked by smaller-scale events instead..

Taking to social media, Ms Mamo said the local branch of the global audit and advisory company celebrates a culture of diversity and inclusion “where people can feel comfortable to be themselves”.

She also took the opportunity to welcome three new team members, who shared their pleasure at working in an environment that champions equality.

Brett Anthony (He/Him) said: “We’ve come a long way as an LGBTQIA+ community in the world of work, but there’s still more to do! I feel KPMG Malta is a perfect place for me to have a real impact, in a diverse team, doing important work.”

Felicitas Lozada Biedma commented: “I am happy to bring my experience and perspective from overseas and appreciate the opportunity to enrich myself with team members’ knowledge and diverse profiles. Thanks for making me a better professional!”

And, finally, Mercedes H (She/Her) remarked: “I am excited for this opportunity to apply my Change Management and Comms background for company growth.”
