He will delve into the future of ransomware – driven by increasingly organised online criminal groups – and explain why the threat shows no sign of slowing down.
The agenda also features a presentation by Holly Foxcroft, a renowned cybersecurity and diversity champion widely recognised as one of the most influential women in the field. Her talk will examine recruitment practices in cybersecurity, highlighting the importance of inclusive strategies to attract and retain diverse talent.
Zoe Tilsiter and Nicole Wong, who are cybersecurity analysts and consultants at Darktrace, will then tackle the evolving threat landscape, where they will explore how attackers are targeting critical sectors with tailored approaches that exploit unique vulnerabilities, operational requirements and business models.
Former member of the European Parliament Josianne Cutajar will then explore EU policies and legislation, discussing key themes such as the advancement of protection against cyber threats, securing of critical digital infrastructure and the importance of cross-sectorial and cross-border cooperation to build a robust digital shield for Europe.
Adding a practical dimension, Diane Abela Hardy will share her real-world experiences as a CISO, offering valuable insights into security leadership and building strong teams across diverse businesses. Expect to walk out of this session with a lot of useful insights that you can apply to your business.
