Molton Co. Ltd has announced the passing of its founder, George Zammit.

In a statement shared on social media, the company expressed its sorrow, noting that “George was the heart and driving force behind G. Molton, a company which he built from very humble beginnings. His vision, dedication, and strong values built the foundation on which our business stands today.”

The company described him as “more than a founder”, adding that “he was a mentor and inspiration to all who had the privilege of working with him.”

Several individuals echoed this sentiment in the comments, with one writing: “In my younger years, George taught me a thing or two about spray.”Molton noted that his influence will remain central to its ethos, stating that “his legacy will live on through the work we continue to do and the principles he instilled in us.”

The funeral will take place on Saturday, 15th November, at 9:00am at St Mary’s Parish Church in Attard.
