Maria Ellul, who represented Malta as Miss World in 2018, has graduated as Valedictorian in her class with a Masters in Security and Diplomacy Studies.

Ms Ellul announced her graduation from Tel Aviv University through her Facebook profile on Monday (today).

“12 years ago, I allowed one teacher to undermine my belief in myself. If someone had told me then that not only would I regain my confidence, but that even a raging war and missiles flying overhead wouldn’t stop me, I wouldn’t have believed them,” she wrote.

Reflecting on her past challenges, she simply noted that that’s life one can either keep going or give up.

“We keep moving forward until the next challenge,” she concluded.

Ms Ellul has also achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from University of Malta.
