University of Malta (UM) have announced and congratulated the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA), Emanuel Said, on his promotion to Associate Professor within the same faculty.

Dr Said completed his PhD studies at Cranfield University School of Management, where he researched organisations’ use of customer insight. He later presented his research at the Academy of Marketing Conference and the Australia New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference as well as published in the Journal of Marketing Management.

Prior to joining University of Malta, Dr Said supervised master’s research in different marketing areas at Cranfield and Glyndwr University along with teaching at Henley Business School and Grenoble Graduate School of Business in Malta.

In his role as a professional, Dr Said provided guidance to a range of private and governmental entities on strategy and marketing, based on customised research and evidence.

He is also a member of the Academy of Marketing Sciences, Academy of Marketing (UK). The British Academy of Management and a review for the Academy of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Management and the International Journal of Market Research.
