Evolve has embraced a group structure by setting up Evolve Management Limited to serve as parent company, incorporating itself and the recently acquired Tua Engineering firm, it announced on Firday.
It has also announced the appointment of a “dynamic” new leadership team for the group, helmed by Christopher Busuttil Delbridge as Chief Visionary Officer, who commented on social media: “After 22 years at the helm of Evolve Ltd, I now take on the reins of our new management company.”
Mr Busuttil Delbridge goes on to say, however, that responsibility will be shared with a "formidable" leadership team, charged with transforming the science-led business with an “even stronger focus on customer satisfaction.”

The team is expected to actively promote the culture, values and purpose of Evolve as well as overseeing the launch and growth of new, exciting and effective ways of serving its customers in the scientific, medical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Aside from Mr Busuttil Delbridge's appointment as Chief Visionary Officer, Fiona Mallia will become Chief Digital Officer. Martina Zammit will serve as Chief Financial Officer, Ritianne Schembri as Chief Operations Officer, and John Montanaro as Chief Commercial Officer.
Mr Busuttil Delbridge commented on the strategic move, saying: “The breadth of experience, the leadership qualities and values of our new management team give me a high degree of confidence in our ability to lead Evolve through the next phase of our strategic journey.
“As Malta’s fastest-growing science company we have a key role to play in supporting scientists and championing the potential that exist in the industries we serve, not only in Malta but across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”
He also hailed a “new chapter” for the company, and stated that it would be the group’s priority to meet the challenges facing the world of science, “driven by quality and a great customer experience.”
Of the new leadership team, he also expressed confidence that it will “not only ensure Evolve is performing at its best, but it will also look into further expansion and development opportunities.”
Since 2019, the Luqa-based supplier of laboratory equipment and lab design consultancy has enjoyed notable growth.
It built the first EU-GMP pharmaceutical lab in Ghana, developed the first-ever medical cannabis facility in Malta, equipped the largest forensics labs in Dubai, supported Malta’s first adventure into space, and recently announced the acquisition of Marsa-based water treatment specialists Tua Engineering.
The Founder added: “Our brand is synonymous with quality and enjoys a respected reputation in the science industry, both at home and abroad. Our aim is to continue to grow the business to win over a greater share of the market while ensuring a world-class customer experience.”
Mr Busuttil Delbridge joined Evolve parent company Attard & Co group over 22 years ago and founded Evolve from scratch, offering services such as designing, equipping, and maintaining workspaces, and training science industry professionals.
