St Julian’s Eden Cinemas has unveiled a significant upgrade to its cinemas, replacing its xenon lamp projectors with new laser projectors.

Through the move, Eden Cinemas seeks to offer patrons an “immersive cinematic journey like never before.”

The introduction of the state-of-the-art laser projectors aims to redefine how audiences perceive and enjoy films, providing vibrant colours, sharper images, and greater clarity.

The projectors will enable there to be a wider colour gamut and greater contrasts, as well as finer details and “razor-sharp images.” Eden Cinemas also stated that they will provide “consistent brilliant brightness levels throughout the entire film.”

“The transition from xenon lamps to laser projectors signifies our dedication to staying at the forefront of technology, offering our patrons an extraordinary visual feast,” he continued.

Valerio Pappalardo, Cinema Manager at Eden Cinemas, expressed his excitement about the upgrade, adding that the team is “thrilled” to be bringing this technology to audiences.

“The new laser projectors promise to enhance the cinematic experience, ensuring that every visit to Eden Cinemas is unforgettable,” he continued.
