Last Saturday, August 5th, marked the most successful National Cinema Day in over a decade at The Eden Cinemas, with thousands of people from across Malta crowding the cinema to enjoy the movie experience.

National Cinema Day brings together a lot of cinemagoers every year without fail. However, Eden reported that 2023 proved to be especially popular, with the St Julian’s cinema recording its biggest single-day numbers in over a decade.

“The day proved once again Eden Cinemas’ commitment to delivering an exceptional cinema experience every time,” said the company, attributing the success to its discount ticket offer and the carefully curated lineup of the season’s most anticipated films, “creating an atmosphere buzzing with energy and excitement”.

A diverse array of films were available to watch on the day, attracting patrons of all kinds from all over the islands.

The films included Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Meg 2: The Trench, Oppenheimer, Barbie, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, Elemental, Mavka: The Forest Song, and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," among many others.
