Claudio Bondin has joined Bay Street Group as Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive and broad experience to its leadership team, the company announced on Friday.

He will provide strategic insight that will drive business performance and work towards achieving key objectives.

“The atmosphere at Bay Street Group is characterised by a purposeful attitude and a strong belief in the collective vision shared by everyone of what and how the strategic objectives will be achieved,” Mr Bondin explained.

“This energetic drive is something that resonates strongly with me, and I find myself eager to actively contribute to the next chapter in the success story of the group,” he added.

“2022 was a remarkable year in terms of regrowth. The fact we have seen significant increases across the board, including over three million visitors at Bay Street Complex, makes us very delighted to have someone like Mr Bondin on our team to sustain and further fuel this growth,” Bay Street Group CEO Albert Galea said.

“His past accomplishments are testament to his aptitude, and we will be looking forward to his valuable contribution,” he concluded.

Holding a Master in Business Administration degree from University of Leicester and a Bachelor in Accountancy degree from University of Malta, Mr Bondin follows a distinguished career, focused on leisure and hospitality businesses of local and international industry-leading organisations.

Bay Street Group has established a varied portfolio throughout the years, ranging from high-end retail and bespoke hospitality, to food and beverage, leading through its flagship Bay Street Shopping Complex.
