Public health authorities are investigating a cluster of four cases of Hepatitis A associated with Deli & Co in Ħal Qormi.

Members of the public who consumed food from the establishment between 17th and 25th June 2026 are being advised to remain alert for symptoms of Hepatitis A until 14th August 2026, due to the infection's incubation period. Symptoms may include fever, tiredness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, dark urine, pale stools and jaundice.

Anyone who ate at the establishment during the specified period and develops symptoms is advised to contact the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Unit on 23266161, 23266104, 23266119 between 8am and 3.30pm, or seek medical advice, informing their healthcare professional of the possible exposure. Public health authorities said investigations and contact tracing are ongoing and that the necessary public health measures are being taken.
