Human resources (HR) professional Darlene Mifsud has been named HR Operations Lead at ride-hailing company eCabs, she shared on Saturday.

Her new role at the firm comes after spending more than two years as HR Administrator and later over a year as HR Operations Specialist.

Prior to her time at eCabs, Ms Mifsud served as Payroll Officer at Azzopardi Fisheries for a year. She also worked at heating and energy solutions company BT Commercial Ltd for three years, initially as an Office Clerk, before being promoted to HR Assistant, a role she served in for two years.

Ms Mifsud holds a diploma in HR Management from University of Leicester, as well as a diploma in Secretarial, Accounting and Business from City & Guilds of London Art School.

Launched as a start-up in 2009, eCabs has since become one of the leading cab and ride-hailing companies in Malta through what it describes as its “invaluable asset of 24/7 operational excellence and wisdom”.
