Marco Spatola dedicated his post-education years travelling far and wide, to take in as many worldly experiences and cultures as possible. In fact, being quite familiar with the peculiarities of bringing people together for one common goal, makes him the ideal man to coordinate the delivery of your precious cargo, from the farthest flung corners of the continent, safely to your doorstep.
Originally Sicilian but practically Maltese by adoption, Marco is the Operations Manager at EuroBridge, responsible for managing all overseas logistics. With an extensive background in catering, where he worked as restaurant manager, obtaining some precious high-pressure performance experience, as well as having worked in the oil and gas industry, Marco is a well-rounded professional who brings quite the compliment to the table.
Joining EuroBridge in early 2023, he quickly ranked his way to Operations Manager, leading a team of motivated individuals, in Malta and abroad. “We are responsible for and managing all the company’s international operations outside of Malta. With eight people in Malta and another two in Milan, we take care of core logistics services that revolve around import and export of groupage cargo, as well as consolidating smaller shipments from various clients into single trailers,” Marco explains.
“We offer seamless transportation of goods from Malta to all the corners of mainland Europe, the UK, and even the Balkans and Turkey, and vice-versa. With hubs in Milan and Modena, EuroBridge has strategically positioned itself to be more competitive, and provide a superior, more cost-effective service to its customers. The recent opening of the Modena hub, in fact underlines EuroBridge’s commitment towards maintaining efficiency and enhancing service.”
Communicating and maintaining a close relationship with all agents and service providers in all the countries EuroBridge operates in, Marco ensures that all pickups and deliveries are smoothly and seamlessly executed, in a manner that is practically invisible to the end customer.
“Our mantra is that once you trust us with your cargo, be it an entire container of goods, or just a small package you need delivered anywhere across the continent, you can forget about it, and rest assured that it will be delivered within the promised time frame,” Marco reassures.
“We are in a position to be very confident about our service offering, because we have the right systems in place, and the experienced personnel to run them,” Marco continues.
Having been in operation for over 20 years, EuroBridge has built a strong reputation for delivering an excellent service at a competitive price point. “EuroBridge stands out as one of the top logistics providers in Malta. Our combination of affordability and dependability has cemented our position as a leading provider. We pride ourselves in dedicating personal attention to each of our clients, and keeping them informed about the whereabouts of their goods, ensuring a level of transparency and customer care that has given EuroBridge its reputation.”
Moreover, EuroBridge understands the value of having a wide visual of the market it is active in, as its operation is entirely data-driven. “The company invests significant resources in monitoring market trends and analysing data to optimise loading processes, ensuring trailers always travel full to maximise efficiency. This level of detail in planning allows EuroBridge to minimise costs, which savings are in turn passed on to the clients,” Marco notes.
With the recent opening of its brand-new state-of-the-art depot and offices in Qormi, EuroBridge is committed to continue providing Malta’s industry with a sterling service at competitive prices.
“The new location has enabled us to better serve our clients and streamline our operations even more, ensuring that all logistical processes are conducted as smoothly as possible for the peace of mind of our customers and theirs,” Marco concludes.
