Founded in 2017 by Robert Zammit, Luxfair Group started off in the construction and development industry, operating under the brands of Luxfair Developments and Luxfair Construction.

Capitalising on the company’s expertise in the property industry, in 2019, Luxfair further branched out in this market with Luxfair Real Estate, a real estate franchise specialising in sales and lettings across Malta. Luxfair Real Estate operates in five localities (Ta’ Xbiex, Sliema, Birkirkara, Mosta and San Ġwann) with about 50 agents under its belt, all led by the agency’s CEO, Derrick Maguire along with his managing team and franchisees.

With Mr Maguire’s experience in the international market, Luxfair Real Estate aims to grow beyond the Maltese islands to further facilitate the process of property purchasing for locals wanting to invest abroad. This step would also help homeowners trying to sell or rent their property by reaching more people internationally.

Luxfair now aims to open its first hotel by the end of this year and says this is just the beginning. As talks continue, the Group has set its sight on becoming one of the most recognised and leading names in the hospitality industry.
