Situated in the sheltered heart of Msida Creek, deep inside Marsamxett Harbour, the bastions of Malta's historic capital Valletta as a backdrop, and bounded by embassies and sleek modern apartments, berths in the Msida & Ta' Xbiex Marina have long been in strong demand.
Since taking over the management and operations of the marina in 2011, Creek Developments Plc has undertaken an extensive program of renovation to match the prime location with the highest standards of equipment, security and service, while still maintaining a competitive price structure.
All berths in the Marina are provided with CCTV coverage, safety and security equipment, waste and waste oil disposal, mooring ropes and networked utility pedestals supplying water and 16- or 32-Amp power, with Marina Staff on hand to assist 24/7/365.
Pontoons and washroom facilities are access controlled, with lavatories and showers available on both sides of the Marina.
Operating a policy of continuous improvement, new facilities and services are added on a regular basis.
The Msida & Ta' Xbiex marinas enjoy extremely high occupancy rates year-round, thanks to the uniquely sheltered location.
Resident yachts going into the yard for maintenance are replaced by a growing repeat population of wintering yachts whose owners take advantage of the easy access from Europe to combine a secure berth with the opportunity of out-of-season yachting.
Owners of smaller boats, normally berthed on moorings in summer, extend their boating season by coming into the Marina during the shoulder months of March-May and September-December.
Short-term visitor berths are available throughout the year, whether for cruising yachts, yacht registration purposes or VAT incentives for charter boats.
