Chef Patron Maria Sammut, together with her team, had the honour of taking home two awards on Monday evening at the 2020 WRMC – Malta Restaurant Awards.

Ms Sammut is the Chef Patron at the contemporary and high-end restaurant, Fifty Nine Republic, located on Republic Street, Valletta.

The executive chef and her team took home The Silver Spoon Award, rewarded to exceptional chefs and first-class dining establishments. The prestigious award places restaurants “in an elevated category of their own,” Fifty Nine Republic proudly said when making the announcement on social media.

Ms Sammut was bestowed with a second award, the WRMC ‘Les Dames Cullinaires Award – Chef Padron 2020.’

The restaurant congratulated Ms Sammut and her team for the enthusiastic and dedicated service provided.
