The LNG tanker in Delimara was moved back to its original position after yesterday’s storm.
It had been moved to its storm mooring position during Storm Harry. Disconnected from the jetty, it stopped supplying LNG to the power station.
Enemalta said that mitigating measures were in place to ensure Malta’s electricity supply remains secure.
Yesterday, Enemalta also said it had different teams who were working in a coordinated manner to address the damages caused by Storm Harry.
It said that due to the nature of certain interventions, especially on power lines exposed to strong winds, repairs could only be carried out when weather conditions are safe.
