Businesspeople carry out an important role in society, providing goods and services to meet the needs and wants of their respective customers. However, if their actions are not guided by the sense of ethical conduct this would be done simply for cultivating their private interests, which would ultimately lead to inequality and social exclusion.
And, in line with this, The Gozo Business Chamber, in collaboration with Bank of Valletta, the Diocese of Gozo, and the Foundation Centesimus Annus Pro Pontefice will be hosting a virtual conference to discuss such themes on 29th October 2021 at 4pm.
Supported by the Ministry for Gozo NGO assistance Scheme, a funding programme for Voluntary Organisations on the Island of Gozo, this conference will address the role of ethics in the business world.
Key industry speakers will be discussing the importance of sustaining an ethical culture based on shared universal values, especially when conducting business. The discussion panel will include several experienced members including Joseph Borg, President of the Gozo Business Chamber, and Dr Gordon Cordina, Chairman at Bank of Valletta.
This conference is another of a series of discussions with the aim of delivering the best insights and practices from experienced personnel. To join this event, click here to complete your registration.
