Jacqueline Camilleri, a much loved and respected team member of Bank of Valletta (BOV) has passed away.
Her death was announced by her husband, Żebbuġ Mayor Mark Camilleri, on Monday (today).
“Rest in peace our dear Jackie. You lived an exemplary life always taking care of family and helping everyone in need,” he said on Facebook. She was a mother to two sons and a grandmother.
Ms Camilleri served as Branch Manager in different localities, namely in Fgura and Rabat and most recently served within a BOV department.
Many expressed their sadness over the difficult news this morning, remembering her as a simple woman with great values. This included colleagues who remarked that her dedication and warmth left a mark on their lives and that now her legacy will live on in their memories
