Valletta-based iGaming game developer AvatarUX has introduced a new team member in the form of “creative genius” Hannah Farrugia, who serves as Product Manager.

She is experienced in the IT industry locally, having served a variety of companies and organisations, including RS2 Software, EY, Gaming Innovation Group, and Gaming Corps.

Indeed, the company commented that the appointee has a “genuine passion for AI and new technologies,” and recounted that she has bucked norms to rise to the position.

“Mastering her way through a male-dominant field, she has arrived at AvatarUX to shake things up and take our games to the next level! Facing new challenges is what she does best,” it said.

Providing a fact about herself, Ms Farrugia emphasised the importance to her life of game development, stating that she regularly participates in game dev competitions, and also that she loves to write, and has published a book called ‘Conquering Product Ownership.’

Commenting on her position at AvatarUX, she said: “As a Product Manager I help define the roadmap and vision for upcoming games and support the design of exciting and engaging mechanics which then creates amazing experiences for players.”
