David Borg, Partner at ARQ Group in the sphere of Tax and Advisory, has been appointed President of the Board for the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) Regional Chapter of Integra International®.

Founded in 1994, Integra International is an interactive association that brings together independent professional service providers offering local specialist knowledge, amplified on a global scale. The association boasts more than 115 independent accounting, tax and consulting firms located in over 70 different countries, all dedicated to exchanging knowledge openly and regularly.

Mr Borg’s appointment is effective from 1st July 2021 and follows his election held in June 2021 during the Integra EMEIA Regional Conference.

As Board President for the EMEIA regional chapter, he will be coordinating the activities for members in Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa. He will also be working with the Global Board to ensure that Integra’s worldwide objectives are achieved.

During his term as President, Mr Borg will focus on increasing the level of engagement that the association has with its member firms as well as working closely with the Membership Committee and supporting them in increasing the number of member firms within Integra.  

He has extensive experience in several industries - particularly in oil and gas, international tourism, and real estate sectors. He has advised various companies on business planning, tax structures and corporate governance issues and has developed accounting and administration systems for various entities. Mr Borg is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Malta Institute of Taxation.
