The Dubai office of Malta-based ANCHOVY plc has wrapped up work on a project to design and build a customised online voting platform for the second iteration of the Arab Parliament for the child, a council for children’s dialogue and discussion.

Headed by the company’s strategy division, the secure electronic platform was built in just six weeks and includes a portal for members, administrators and auditors to ensure votes and information were accurately managed over up to two rounds of voting.

User experience and reporting were paramount in the platform’s design as it needed to cater for a variety of different ages and skill sets, explained ANCHOVY, commenting on the project’s success.

A number of executives at the company, including Co-Founder Benji Borg, have celebrated the project, saying “we proudly supported the Arab World with the election of the Speaker of the Arab Parliament for the child through the creation of an electronic voting platform”.

ANCHOVY is a leading local company with a presence internationally, including in Dubai.

It provides services across the full business landscape, allowing businesses to research and identify new opportunities throughout their customer journey to help them define, design and develop brand initiatives so they are market-ready.

The company was founded by brother Zak and Benji Borg, and in 2017, went public to be listed on the Malta Stock Exchange.
