Mosta-based Adam’s Fish Shop received an astonishing 13 kilogram squid delivery on Thursday.
Sharing the impressive catch on its Facebook page, the shop noted that the squid is perfect for grilling, frying or even making seafood stew.
Adam’s is an artisanal seafood and fish shop founded in 2013 by chef patron Adam Demanuele, preparing gourmet seafood meals.
The outlet was Malta's first gourmet fish shop concept, and was originally located just across the street from its current Mosta location.
It claims to be the provider for 92 per cent of superyachts that dock in Malta.
Mr Demanuele leads three seafood businesses. This includes the Seafood Market Grill and Seafood Street Food in Gzira. Furthermore, he has extensive experience at Dolce Vita, Hilton and other venues.
