Multidisciplinary firm ACT Advisory Services Limited announced three new senior appointments within its management earlier this month.

Accounting specialist Christabel Spiteri has been promoted to Director at the company, while also retaining the position of Audit Manager.

Ever since joining the company in 2016 as Audit Executive, Ms Spiteri has risen through the ranks, having also served as Assistant Audit Manager for over a year. A Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) from ACAMS, she is a veteran in Malta’s accounting world.

Graziella Vella, who over the last seven years has been “instrumental” in the management of the company’s accounting department, has been appointed Senior Manager.

Ms Vella is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in both accounting and auditing that stretches to more than 20 years. She has assisted a range of clients, both local and international, to comply with their accounting and other statutory requirements.

Tax compliance professional Josephine Borg has also been named Senior Manager at the company, after more than two years of managing its tax department.

Throughout those years, she has dealt with a number of local and cross-border tax issues. Ms Borg is a Certified Public Accounting with years’ experience in direct taxation, assisting both local and international clients in their tax compliance matters.

The following appointments come as part of ACT Advisory Services’s push to continue strengthening its management that “has seen extensive growth over the past years” after increasing its workforce to thirty.

“We are confident that through the new appointments, the firm will continue to expand its operations as we are looking forward to realise our well thought out plans to meet our clients’ needs over the next decade,” the company said.
