Troo Hospitality, led by Founder and CEO Winston Zahra, has taken a significant step in its international expansion with the acquisition of its first property in Central London.
Through a partnership with Immersive Hospitality Management, Troo Hospitality will manage Corus Hotel Hyde Park, located at 1 Lancaster Gate. This 388-room property, which boasts a prime location near Hyde Park, will be the largest hotel in Troo Hospitality’s portfolio.
“We look forward to working with Immersive Hospitality Management to manage this iconic property and bring our expertise to the Corus Hotel Hyde Park,” Mr Zahra shared on LinkedIn.
The hotel is set to undergo a comprehensive refurbishment in the coming months, with Troo Hospitality closely involved in the project’s design and management.
This London expansion is just the latest in a series of ambitious moves by Troo Hospitality, which has been building a diverse portfolio of properties across key European destinations.
“We are all extremely excited about this opportunity and very much looking forward to working with the team at the hotel and the owners of Immersive Hospitality,” wrote Mr Zahra, optimistic about the journey ahead.
Mr Zahra is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He began his career by building the Island Hotels Group in Malta, and he later ventured internationally, becoming Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GG Hospitality in 2018, and then launching Troo Hospitality, which focuses on hotel management, in 2022.
His career spans both development and operations, with a reputation for elevating service standards. He also made significant contributions to the Maltese tourism industry, shaping its growth over the years.
