Throughout her 30 years’ career in the banking sector, predominantly in credit and lending, Suzanne Stafrace occupied various roles, also gaining experience in regulatory compliance.

She was appointed Head of Business Banking of HSBC in August 2020. “My role,” she explains, “consists of leading a team of relationship managers, team managers and support officers whose main task is to service and support the business community. Another important aspect of my role is the continuous professional development of my staff members by working with them to reach their full potential, as well as the training and mentoring of those employees who actively seek career progression.”

In addition, Ms Stafrace is also a coach in the HSBC’s coaching programme.

She is an MBA graduate from the University of Bangor, in Wales and is a member of the UK Chartered Banker Institute.
