After a successful 35-year career as a banker and IT professional in Malta’s leading bank and in an international banking group, where he concluded his banking career as the Group CIO, in 2016, Silvio Mifsud decided to move on and share his experience and knowledge, as an advisor and consultant, to several diverse companies and government agencies.

“My experience,” he asserts, “spans across many verticals, including SWIFT, due diligence, compliance, international payments, trade finance, banking information technology - both from a bank's and service provider's perspective, virtualisation, insurance, office administration and real estate project management.”

He is a firm believer in digitalisation, automation and disruptive technology.

Mr Mifsud is also also a Non-Executive Director for other financial services licensed entities and an IT and due diligence advisor in investment migration and banking technology.
