“During my working tenure, I worked passionately in the food industry, both in the catering and the manufacturing of food, for over 18 years,” Roberta Caruana says.

Prior to working with Clentec Cleaning, she served Quality Assurance Manager in various local food processing plants. During her journey, she always kept herself updated by regularly attending a number of quality assurance and health and safety courses. She recently graduated in management and leadership from the University of Malta.

“Occupying the role of Operations Manager with Clentec Cleaning has been a very challenging and exciting journey as it gave me the opportunity to step in the unknown, in another, totally different, service industry. This experience has enabled me to grow further. In time, and with more experience and knowledge of the industry, I shall ensure continual improvement in our operating processes,” Ms Caruana asserts.

One of her main goals for Clentec Cleaning is to consistently ensure the highest quality in the services it delivers to clients. A fundamental pillar to support this is to deliver training and coaching to employees, monitor employee practices and set standard operational procedures for consistency.

“Another main goal is to be an effective and supportive leader to our workforce, to get the best out of our people and inspire them to meet clients’ expectations and perform their job diligently,” she says.
