After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, she gained extensive experience as Managing Director in consultancy services, Director of human resources and corporate communications manager in the textile business and in the media sector, in the front office department services in hotels and as the chairman’s assistant. She was also awarded contracts as an agent of Malta Enterprise and of the American University of Malta.

A Maltese resident for the past 12 years, Ms Artar originally came to Malta for business purposes. “However, I fell in love with the country immediately and, from the moment I set foot on it, I knew that this would be my home,” she says. She is even attending classes in the Maltese language to be able to speak fluently in Maltese so she can immerse herself in Maltese culture. Ms Artar enjoys reading and learning about Malta’s history.
