Leslie Xerri admits that his first job in an accounts office at a relatively young age is what inspired him to further his studies and pursue a career path in finance.

“I joined Alliance Real Estate in the position of Financial Controller when the company was still operating as part of an international real estate franchise, with around 50 agents in just three offices. When the new Alliance brand was launched in July 2020, my title changed to Chief Financial Officer and I began forming part of the executive committee that oversees the overall management of the Group, led by our CEO Michael Bonello,” he explains.

Apart from managing accounting distributions and managing accounts, payments, payroll and bank functions with his team, Mr Xerri’s role includes analysis and planning of the Group’s financial performance. He is also responsible for forecasting future movements and advising the partners and board of directors on financial matters.
