Dean Micallef has been Managing Director of professional services firm Firstbridge since 2014 and is responsible for corporate strategy, business development, the team mentorship programme and the direction of the organisation.

He also sits on various company boards as Executive and Non-Executive Director.

“A Certified Public Accountant and holding a Master’s Degree in financial services, I started my career as a financial auditor with a Big 4 firm and, three years later, I became a Financial Advisory Consultant, specialising primarily in corporate finance, business valuations, market intelligence and transactions within the same firm,” Mr Micallef says.

After a combined nine-year term with the firm, he moved to a long-standing diversified group of companies as Group CFO.

A strong believer in the importance of operating within a highly positive environment while using technology to both enable and assist performance, he is confident that embracing teamwork and working to one’s strengths pave the way to success.
