A graduate in International Relations, Daniel Debono read for a Master's in International Political Economy at the University of Birmingham.

“In 2015, I moved to Brussels to manage the Malta Business Bureau’s Representative Office where I act as the Maltese Permanent Delegate at BusinessEurope, EuroChambres and Hotrec. I also liaise with the Maltese Permanent Representation to the EU, European Parliament, European Commission and European Economic and Social Committee on policy and legislative issues of interest to Maltese businesses,” he explains.

With its head office in Malta and a representative office in Brussels, the Malta Business Bureau represents the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association in Brussels and Malta. It does so by liaising directly with the European institutions, the Maltese Permanent Representation and with umbrella organisations on all policy and funding issues affecting Maltese business interests.
